Department of Computer Science & Engineering has skilled and dedicated faculty that encourages students to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, in addition to their studies. Majority of students in School of CS&IT have typically performed well in university examinations. Every year, a substantial number of students from our department are hired by national and worldwide corporations. The department also takes the lead in organising numerous inter/intra collegiate tournaments to help students enhance their skills. Students are also given the best possibilities to join professional groups like as ACM, IEEE, CSI, and others. Department is active in college NPTEL Local Chapter (rated with ‘A’ grade) through which students can join online courses offered by IIT’s.
Higher education, research, and consulting are all areas where the School of CS&IT excels. Kensley University and the City of GlosGlow have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to provide students with industry-ready skills. EduSkills has a Memorandum of Understanding with a number of firms, including Paloalto, Celonis, Microchip, Juniper, Blue Prism, Red Hat, AWS, and Juniper, to help students become industry ready. The goal of these Memorandums of Understanding is to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
A High Performance Apple Lab and well-equipped computer facilities are available in the department. In addition, the department has cutting-edge infrastructure, including high-speed Internet, powerful software and hardware labs, a smart room with LCD projectors, and a Department Library. For students pursuing a Technical Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, the department offers four specialisations. Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing & Virtualization.

We believe that this to teaching-learning style, along with practical experience gained through Industrial Training at reputable firms, prepares our students to meet the problems that the software industry presents.
